Welcome KHS Classmates of '65

Though we may have missed you at our 60th Reunion, we wanted to share a glimpse of the unforgettable time we had celebrating together over two joyful days.

The festivities began with a scenic cruise on the Hudson River aboard the Rip Van Winkle, offering a perfect setting to reconnect and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. That evening, we gathered at Little Italy in Midtown Kingston for a warm and lively Meet & Greet, featuring a delicious buffet and heartfelt words from Rev. James Alley.

Day two started with a group photo on the familiar steps of KHS, followed by a fascinating tour of the transformed campus led by John Boyle. It was both nostalgic and eye-opening to see all the changes.

Our reunion concluded with a lovely dinner at the Wiltwyck Country Club, where we shared stories, renewed friendships, and enjoyed music performed by four talented members of the KHS String Ensemble, directed by Shara Dernison. Carol (Knapp) Schaff added special touches with thoughtful centerpieces and goody bags. Rev. James Alley once again offered a blessing and uplifting words.

As one classmate put it, “A good time was had by all!”

P.S. Photos are now available, captions will come later

Warm regards,
Paul Mercier
